Message from a Teacher – This is a message that I
received from one of our teachers. “I know we don't get to recognize the
behind scene people very often so here it is.”
“Shout Out to our maintenance department employees Joe Garza and
Brandon Siebol for their quickness in helping my students and I on
Friday and Today! Our AC went out on Friday so it has been QUITE warm
in our room. Thanks for bringing a fan and calling the AC guy ASAP. We
have a working AC again and it is much appreciated.”
Senior Upcoming Activities:
- Monday May 24: Senior Pack It Out Event, 2:30-3:00pm in front of the school office.
Seniors will pick up their yard signs, t-shirts, permission slips for the Senior Trip, and passlists for Graduation.
- Wednesday May 26: Senior Trip Permission Slips Due by 2:30pm
- Thursday, May 27: Senior Awards Posted Social Media
- Friday May 28: Last Day of School, Turn in Chromebook & Charger, Pay Fines
- Sunday May 30: *Baccalaureate at St. Mary’s Church

- Wednesday, June 2: Senior/Pre K Grad Walk @ Harrah (students and staff only)
8:45: Seniors report to HS gym Parking lot, perform temp checks/attestations, load bus
9:00: Bus leaves WS for Harrah Elementary
9:20: Arrive at Harrah, Unload bus- Seniors will stand outside the fence in front of the school.
9:25: Harrah staff, students, and
teachers will walk in front of the school (by class and grade level) to
wave and say "Hi" to the Seniors (while socially distanced)
9:50: Seniors Walk to Harolds for an Ice Cream Treat
10:05: Seniors load the bus and drive back to WS
10:25: Seniors Arrive back in WS
- Graduation Practice: 10:45- 12:00pm
- Baccalaureate @ Sacred Road Church, 6:00pm

announced the week of Graduation).
Families will sit in assigned areas
Data from the most recent iReady assessments that
Mr. McCracken shared at the last Board meeting (Please note the increase
in the top two measures and the decrease in the bottom two measures of
both math and reading). These are GREAT measures of success!
Math:
Mid or above grade level 22 students in the green...Spring 40 students in the green +18
Early on grade Level 14 students in the green ... 41 students in the green. +27
